Natural
Ending yesterday's ride, I rode up the ramp into the shop on Red, turned off the engine and sat in the saddle for a long moment.Removing my helmet, I told my friend Chris that I find more and more as I ride that I don't want to get off. His smiling eyes and face reflected a knowing understanding.
While reading* this morning on the train, I came across a passage that explains it all:
"Being on the machine seems more natural than being off it."
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert Persig.
