I had composed a rather lengthy post relating the recent trip to our place in Big Bend: building and erecting the first structure on El Punto Coyote, the sad state of affairs with the severe drought, a morning walk, an adobe structure nearby, and a relaxing visit to Cedar Springs Ranch, our friend Randy's place in the desert. 

And then Blogger ate it. The site froze, crashed, and my entire post disappeared.
