Due to life's elephant (charging through the china shop) and the dry Texas furnace, riding the bike has been temporarily suspended, except for the hot drudgery of weekday commuting in 110 degrees F in rush hour traffic (thank goodness for my vest that holds cold water). (Exception: upcoming week-long trip to New Mexico for an adobe building workshop and exploring the surrounding landscapes; more later.)

However, tidbits will be posted here in lieu of bike or travel related content. And, quite frankly, such tidbits are more relevant to issues we are all facing now, bike or no bike. So, enjoy. Or, ignore.
